Organic Soup Kitchen seeks donations

With thousands of meals served during several community events in recent months, the newly formed Organic Soup Kitchen is holding a fundraiser to support a mobile soup truck and other meals.

“Taste of Love,” the organization’s principal fundraiser, takes place on February 15 at the Oreana Winery and Marketplace from 5 to 10 p.m., featuring wine tasting, silent auction, appetizers, live music and a raffle.

Items and gift certificates for the auction can be donated by February 10, and donors will receive recognition at the event and in promotional materials. Cash donations can also be made at www.organicsoupkitchen.org, and more information about the fundraiser is available by calling 886-7427 or sending an email to anthony@organicsoupkitchen.org.
