Dear Reader: We regret to inform you that because of the current economic situation, we are unable to continue with our home delivery program. With significantly less demand than our free distribution, home delivery simply was too costly for us to continue.
At this time we are unable to provide the investment required to insure the customer service necessary for our home delivery service. In addition, our agreement with the independent delivery company has not been renewed, resulting in the recent spotty service and the untimely stoppage of delivery.
To help compensate for this loss, we have added 1,200 papers a day to our free distribution racks available at more than 320 locations from Carpinteria to Goleta.
