Yeah, pot is the problem, NOT! : 7/29/2010

Alcohol is the real problem in this town not all the pot shops. People who are stoned only on marijuana don't have these violent and angry fits. Drunks do. Meth heads do. Not pot heads. End the prohibition on pot and start dealing with the real man-made (chemical) problem and not the natural marijuana plant.

A 2 1/2 inch knife is a deadly weapon?Everybody carries a knife like that,is that illegal?Really I don't know sounds a little like overkill.

RE: 2 1/2 in. pocket knife : 7/29/2010

It's called having a concealed weapon. I believe the legal length for a "pocket knife" has to be 3 inches or less; but feel free to due your own research. To avoid the concealed weapons charge, the knife has to be kept somewhere "visible" at all times, like attached to your belt, or clipped to your pocket with the knife exposed on the outside. But like I said, it's your gamble not mine, so I would still do my own research.

Watch out for your puddle! : 7/29/2010

"But as he made his escape, the man slipped and fell." -- Guess he couldn't keep it in any longer!!

Marijuana raids : 7/29/2010

Instead of wasting time raiding marijuana plants in the hills why doesnt the County invest some time in making our streets safer. Alcohol seems to be the largest problem with regards to violence and arrests. I have NEVER seen a violent stoner....

MTD Transit Center : 7/29/2010

I ride public transportation. The only business in the 1000 block of Chapala is the MTD Transit Center. This year seems to be the worst year so far for passengers being harassed while waiting for a bus. I'm not surprised that someone was challenging passengers to fight. I personally witnessed a drunk on the bus yelling at other passengers while riding a bus just two months ago. It's not just the homeless. Foreign students often want to sit together as a group in the disabled/senior priority section. They argue with the disabled over the seats which is against Federal law.

Ride at your own risk
